1 1/2 oz. white rum
A few leaves of chopped mint
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 tbsp sugar syrup (or 1 1/2 tbsp. of sugar)
Muddler (sometimes called a pestle)
In a tall empty chimney glass add a few chopped leaves of mint and begin to muddle the leaves to release the flavor.
Add a wedge of lemon or a couple of tablespoons of lemon juice.
Continue to muddle and then add sugar syrup (or sugar).
Now add ice and top with club soda.
Stir it up so mint leaves are evenly distributed throughout the glass.
Garnish with a wedge of lime.
